The Ultimate Fighting Championship's return to Fox won its timeslot among mixed martial arts' core age group, if an early ratings report is correct. CAPTIONBy Mike Dinovo, US Presswire UFC on Fox 2 averaged 4.37 million viewers and a 2.2 rating among adults 18-to-49 on Saturday, according to overnight estimates cited on the television industry website TV by the Numbers. That was the top rating in that age group for any network TV program from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m ET, although a re-run of CSI on CBS averaged more viewers overall in the 9 to 10 timeslot. UFC's Fox debut in November averaged 5.7 million viewers and a 3.1 rating, with a peak of at least 8.8 million for a 64-second fight between Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.
